Make a Donation in Honor of Someone Special

As the holidays approach and Louisiana Arbor Day 2013 – always the 3rd Friday of January, TreesAcadiana is planning its tree-planting project for the New Year. With it, comes the realization that we need the help of all our membership to bring the project to fruition.

While helping hands to volunteer are ever so important, our biggest expense is typically associated with our purchase of trees and materials for Arbor Day. With our monumental accomplishments of last year, we are asking that memberships be renewed and consideration be given to becoming a higher level contributor. It is easier than ever at where members can elevate to rankings by tree, with the loftiest being a “live oak.”

Additionally, TreesAcadiana, with the coming Arbor Day project, suggests that the trees we purchase and plant be designated as memorial or honorarium trees. These will be planted on Saturday, January 19, to create an attractive, yet utilitarian border that screens and protects the bus fleet and its parking lot. With a donation, those honored and memorialized in the planting will be acknowledged at the Arbor Day planting. Certificates will be issued, along with a picture, to our donors.

For some, it would be the best gift of all. Click here to DONATE TODAY through our website.
We welcome and thank you for all your help through the years – and if you have never contributed or participated in TreesAcadiana before, there is no time like the present!

We sincerely appreciate your help. We thank you for considering our needs. We’re hanging on and hope to hear from you soon!
